Things I've Been Loving: January

1. Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation

Y'all. All I can say is go find this at your drugstore. It feels like no other drugstore foundation I have ever tried. I've heard other people compare it to the Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation, which is really saying something. I definitely think it's as good or better than the high end foundations I own. Bottom line: run to the nearest drugstore. You'll thank me later.

2. Hunter Rain Boots

January has been a month of crazy weather. In Texas, we've seen rain, ice, sleet, snow and crazy mixtures of any and all of those. My boots (navy original gloss) have been great for keeping my feet dry and toasty and have great traction for all the slippery slush that has potential embarrassing moment written all over it.

3. PopSugar Fitness videos on YouTube

PopSugar fitness puts out a new 10 minute workout video usually led by a celebrity trainer or fitness guru at least once a week. They're great to mix up your workout routine and require little to no equipment. Since they're only 10 minutes, I usually do two (although one is enough to get your heart pumping...) and then add my own stretches or toning moves. The only thing that would make them better is if they played music in them. Music really motivates my workouts, so I usually add my own over the video. Check out their channel here!

4. Patagonia Even Better Sweater

I got this jacket for Christmas this year and have been wearing it non-stop. When I went back to school, I didn't bring my heavy winter coat with me, because how cold can it really get in Texas...? Oh, how wrong I was. As I mentioned before, we had lots of unusual winter weather and it got into the teens some days. Although it's not Patagonia's warmest jacket, it did keep me from freezing on the frantic runs from the building to the car (the only time I went outside during those crazy cold days). The construction of it makes it really versatile. I throw it on over a t-shirt and leggings to go to class (#collegelife...), but it's fitted enough to look put together as a part of a dressier outfit.

5. Mugs/Drinkware

Ever since I went home for winter break,  I've been making hot drinks (tea, hot chocolate, even peppermint mochas!) almost every morning and, naturally, a cute mug makes the drink taste ten times better. So, ever since then, I have been pinning, googling and window shopping for cute mugs (I adore the Kate Spade mugs). But it doesn't stop there. When the tea gets cold, you out it over ice and into an adorable tumbler, which I have also been obsessed with.

Lilly Pulitzer just released tumblers in new prints for spring and I will no doubt be picking up one or two of those...
